During the MIDS academic year, students visit international dispute settlement institutions in Switzerland and abroad. The cost of the trips is covered by the MIDS.

In the first semester, MIDS students visit the ICC in Paris where they meet and hear presentations by ICC officials and practitioners of leading law firms. The visit also serves as the second part of the intensive course with Prof. Pierre Tercier on ICC Arbitration.

In the second semester, MIDS students travel to The Hague where they meet Judges and staff members of the International Court of Justice, the Permanent Court of Arbitration, and the Iran-United States Claims Tribunal.
