Biography

Laura Zinnerman is an Argentine qualified lawyer enrolled at the MIDS as the 2020 Young ICCA Scholar.

Prior to joining the MIDS, Laura worked as an associate at Dechamps International Law, representing clients in investment and commercial arbitrations in Latin America. Her past professional experience also includes working as an associate at the Argentine law firm Bomchil between 2016 and 2019 and as a trainee at the Buenos Aires office of Baker McKenzie in 2015.

Laura graduated from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, where she specialized in international law and was distinguished five times as Outstanding Student and Lecturer. She has participated as a team member, coach and arbitrator in several international arbitration moot competitions, including coaching the Universidad de Buenos Aires teams that won the Concours d’Arbitrage International de Paris in 2018 and 2020. She was also a Fulbright scholar at the International Seminar for Young Leaders in Argentina in 2018.

Laura was a member of the Executive Board of Argentina Young Arbitration Practitioners (AYAP) from 2018 to 2020. She frequently speaks and publishes on international dispute settlement, financial and energy law.
