Biography

Yvete Sola is a Philippine qualified lawyer and an Associate Solicitor at the Office of the Solicitor General of the Republic of the Philippines. She handles civil, criminal, special proceedings and international commercial arbitration of the Republic of the Philippines.

Yvete was among the Philippine delegate to the 43rd Session- External Program of The Hague Academy of International Law in Singapore and the 8th edition of the EU Business Law and WTO Practice Summer Program of the Universite Saint-Louis- Bruxelles in Belgium.

Yvete holds a Bachelor of Laws from the San Beda University, and Bachelor in Business Administration (Honors Program) from the Ateneo de Naga University.

In law school, she participated in the 2013 and 2014 Philip C. Jessup Moot Competition (Philippine National Rounds), World Human Rights Moot Competition, and Gujarat Moot in International Trade Law, where she was awarded 2nd best speaker.

Yvete also served as arbitrator in the global rounds of the Foreign Direct Investment Moot in Boston, Massachusetts and judged the 2018 and 2019 Philip C. Jessup Cup Philippine National Rounds.
