Shivansh is an India qualified lawyer who completed his undergraduate degree from Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar, India (B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.)) (2012-2017).
Prior to joining the MIDS, Shivansh worked as an Associate at Kachwaha & Partners, New Delhi (GAR 100 firm), a firm specialising in dispute resolution, for a period of three years. He has acted as a counsel for an array of private entities in domestic and international commercial arbitrations arising out of large-scale energy and construction contracts, and in disputes regarding white collar crimes.
His enduring association with moot court competitions has had varied forms. While he represented his university in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot (Vienna) and the ELSA Moot Court Competition on WTO Law as a participant, he has also consistently acted as a coach and a judge in several moot competitions over the years.
Shivansh also has a keen interest in academic writing, and has authored articles and research papers for the Kluwer Arbitration Blog, Cambridge International Law Journal Blog, Young Arbitration Review, and Transnational Dispute Management (TDM) Journal.
