Biography

Misha is an Indian qualified lawyer. Before joining the MIDS, she was working as an associate at a leading Indian law firm in Mumbai for four years. There, her practice spanned several practice areas including commercial litigation as well as securities’ and insolvency litigation. She has been involved in some complex corporate disputes and has represented clients (foreign and domestic) before various Indian courts and tribunals, such as, the Supreme Court of India and the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal among others. Misha also has experience with transactional law.

Misha graduated from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore (B.A., LL.B. (Hons.)) in 2016. Misha was an avid mooter and represented her university in several international moot court competitions. She also spent an exchange semester at Uppsala University, Sweden, where she pursued a course on EU Commercial Law and Litigation.
