Biography

Giacomo Gasparotti holds a Master of Laws (cum laude) from the University of Padova with a thesis in international investment arbitration, supervised by Professor Andrea Gattini.

Giacomo is a qualified lawyer (‘Avvocato’) in Italy, admitted to the Padova Bar.

Prior to joining the MIDS, he worked for three years with the Italian Dispute Resolution Team of Withersworldwide, specialising mainly in commercial and cross-border litigation.

Giacomo has keen interest in international investment and commercial arbitration. He is a member of Young ICCA and YIAG and has published two arbitration case reports on IACL (International Arbitration Case Law) and Transnational Dispute Management (TDM)/Oil-Gas-Energy-Mining-Infrastructure Dispute Management (OGEMID).
