Biography

Adarsh is an Indian qualified lawyer, with 7 years post qualification experience, 5 years of which has been in commercial arbitration. Prior to joining the MIDS, he was a senior associate in the arbitration practice group of Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co, one of the largest law firms in India.

Adarsh has advised and represented clients in international and domestic arbitrations administered by ICC, SIAC and ad hoc tribunals, with the seat and governing law spanning across many jurisdictions. These arbitrations were primarily in the construction, engineering and infrastructure sectors. Adarsh has been involved in handling disputes arising out of contracts executed in India, UK, Switzerland, Jordan, Singapore, Greece, Ethiopia and Syria.

Adarsh has also advised and represented clients before the Supreme Court of India, High Courts, trial courts and statutory tribunals on matters relating to employment law, real estate, shareholder disputes, white-collar crimes, bank guarantees and service contracts. He received his LL.B. degree with first division honours from Amity Law School, Delhi.
