Biography

Juan Camilo is a Colombian qualified lawyer since 2013. He graduated top 5 of his class from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana of Bogotá.

Prior to joining the MIDS, he practised law at Dentons Colombia in the Arbitration and Litigation Group for three and a half years, and afterwards did a six-months internship in the International Arbitration Group of Latham & Watkins Paris office.

A side from his job at law-firms, Juan Camilo taught Roman Law for two years in the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, comparing it with modern Colombian Obligations & Contract Law.

Furthermore, he is the co-founder of Colombian Very Young Arbitration Practitioners (""COLVYAP"").
