Lukas F. Innerebner is an Italian educated lawyer specializing in the resolution of international commercial disputes.
Since August 2018, Lukas is a member of the dispute resolution team of Baker McKenzie in Zurich advising clients mainly in Swiss court proceedings and in domestic and international arbitration.
Previously, he worked for several years as an associate in the team of Dr Cecilia Carrara at Legance - Avvocati Associati in Rome, focusing mainly on international commercial arbitration (both as counsel and assistant of the tribunal), mergers & acquisitions, and extraordinary corporate transactions. In addition, he was involved in several state court proceedings as well as in compliance and contract law matters, providing advice to private companies and public authorities.
Lukas is currently enrolled in the MIDS program which he is expected to complete in September 2018. He is writing his Master thesis on the availability of non-compensatory damages in international commercial arbitration under the supervision of Prof Kaufmann-Kohler. Prior to the MIDS, Lukas studied law in Italy (Trento) and in the Netherlands (Maastricht). He also holds the Certificate in International Commercial and Investment Arbitration from the University of Roma Tre. He also published various articles and comments on Italian and Swiss arbitration law topics.
