Biography

Maria is a Greek qualified lawyer, having graduated with an LL.B. from the Democritus University of Thrace, as well as with an LL.M. in Public International Law from the University of Athens.

Prior to attending the MIDS LL.M. program, Maria worked as a legal intern, and subsequently as an associate at the IT & IP Litigation and Arbitration Disputes Department of Lambadarios Law Firm, in Athens, Greece, handling litigation and arbitration cases on IT, telecommunications, IP, privacy and data protection.

Maria has participated in the 2017 edition of the ELSA Summer Law School on International Investment Law and Arbitration, as well as in the 2018 edition of the International Academy for Arbitration Law. She has also participated as a team member in the 2015-2016 edition of the ELSA Human Rights Moot Court Competition, and in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Athens Pre-Moot in Athens as an arbitrator.

She speaks fleuntly English and Greek, while she also has intermediate knowledge of Spanish and French.
