Ms. Zorrilla-Arena is a qualified Mexican attorney with a Law Degree from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and an LLM in International Dispute Settlement from the Graduate Institute and the University of Geneva.
She has advised sovereign states, state-owned entities and private companies in arbitral proceedings under the ICSID, ICC, CRCICA and UNCITRAL Rules, and has advised States on trade, investment policy and dispute settlement matters.
Ms Zorrilla was Legal Consultant at UNCTAD and was part of Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt and Mosle international arbitration legal team. Also, she has been trained at the ICC's International Court of Arbitration in Hong Kong and the arbitration group of Shearman & Sterling's Paris office.
Currently, she is professor of international dispute settlement at the Graduate Law School of the National University of Mexico.
