Biography

Sashia is an Indonesian diplomat. She has been working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2019. Having been assigned to the Directorate of Legal Affairs and Territorial Treaties, she deals primarily with the law of the sea issues. Maritime boundary negotiations with Indonesia's neighbouring countries fall under her portfolio. In addition to the law of the sea, Sashia is also entrusted to work on air and space law.

Prior to joining the diplomatic corps, Sashia worked in a law firm in Jakarta for two years. There, she handled commercial and corporate issues.

Sashia has a deep interest in Space Law and International Dispute Settlement Mechanisms. During her undergraduate studies at Universitas Padjajaran, she participated in the Willem C. Vis International Arbitration and Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competitions.
