Biography

Silvana Çinari is an Albanian qualified lawyer with ten years of experience in practice and academia.

Prior to joining MIDS as Young ICCA Scholar, she worked at Kola & Associates Law Firm in Tirana, Albania providing counseling and legal representation in litigation and arbitration mainly on Commercial, Tax, IP, Administrative, Construction, Mining and Energy Law issues. She is also a teaching assistant at the University of Tirana, Law Faculty in the courses of Civil Procedure Law, ADR and International Arbitration and coaches the team of that University for the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.

Silvana holds a Ph.D. from University of Tirana for her thesis on provisional measures in civil litigation and arbitration proceedings. She also completed a Master on EU Business Law at the same University.

She has authored several publications focused on civil procedure law and international arbitration and has attended different international summer programs focusing on international arbitration and private international law.
