Raphael Lang Silva is a Brazilian, Swiss and Uruguayan national, being a qualified lawyer in Brazil. He earned his bachelor degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, in 2017, having presented his thesis, with distinction, on the topic of corruption in International Arbitration.
Whilst in Brazil, he served as an intern in several law firms, having worked with arbitration, corporate law and domestic litigation. He participated in several moot court competitions during his studies, including two participations as a speaker of the Willem C. Vis Moot and of the FDI Moot.
From July 2018 to December 2018, he will be working as an intern in the International Arbitration practice of Latham & Watkins in Paris. Raphael is native speaker of Portuguese, fluent in English and Spanish and have a good command of French.
