Biography

Nicolò Filippo is an Italian qualified lawyer and a current LL.M. candidate in the Geneva Master in International Dispute Settlement (MIDS).

Before joining the MIDS program, he spent the past three and a hallf years in national law firms, dealing with litigation, focusing on domestic contractual and banking claims, both in Turin and in Milan. He also worked as legal intern in a leading international banking institution.

Nicolò Filippo was born in Turin, Italy. He obtained his law degree (JD) from Università degli Studi di Torino, in February 2019, with a thesis on International Arbitration “Arbitrators as Lawmakers – the regulatory activity: a complex overlay”. During his academic path, he spent two semesters in Finland in the University of Lapland, where he represented the local team in the 24th edition of the Vis Moot competition.

Nicolò Filippo is fluent in English and Spanish.
