Biography

Christopher Awodimila is a Nigerian qualified Lawyer with experience in dispute resolution (arbitration and litigation).

Prior to joining the MIDS, he worked as the Special Assistant (“SA”) to the Attorney General of Delta State, Nigeria. During his time as SA, he represented Delta State in various high net worth disputes. Christopher was also an integral part of the team that drafted the current Delta State Arbitration and Mediation Bills awaiting passage by the Delta State House of Assembly.

He is a member of several international arbitration networks, such as the Association of Young Arbitrators (AYA), the ICC’s Young Arbitration Forum, LCIA’s Young International Arbitration Group and the founder of a non-profit association called Experts in Arbitration and Litigation (ELA). ELA serves as a platform for dispute resolution practitioners and enthusiasts to interact and network.

Outside his professional practice, Christopher is a Barcelona fan who loves to travel to new places and learn about diverse cultures.
