The conference was jointly organized on the occasion of the 10th Anniversary of the Foundation for International Arbitration Advocacy (FIAA), by FIAA and the CIDS. It explored advocacy styles and techniques before different international courts and tribunals. International experts and practitioners identified differences and commonalities of practices, with the aim of improving dispute settlement methods.
The keynote speech was delivered by Sir Christopher Greenwood, judge at the International Court of Justice.
