The CIDS is essentially devoted to research activities and provides a platform for high level exchanges on cutting edge issues in contemporary dispute resolution.
Its main purposes are to provide an intellectual home for scholars, PhD and MIDS students engaged in research in international dispute settlement; to engage in and coordinate collaborative research projects; to run seminars for doctoral students from Geneva and elsewhere to allow them to share research results and views; and to organize academic conferences as well as expert colloquia.
